The lava is mainly flowing along the furrow created by the first flow, which reached the coast about ten days later, creating a volcanic delta in the ocean.

Most of the tremors are concentrated in an area of ​​the south-east of the island at medium or high depths. The highest recorded so far has been of magnitude 4.9. Those in charge of the emergency plan for the eruption do not rule out that there may be other tremors, even more intense.

According to the latest data released by the European Copernicus system, magma has already buried over 906 hectares of land. One month after the eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano in La Palma, the seabed around the island is covered by volcanic ash, as can be seen from the underwater shots taken by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).
